City of York walked onto the treacherously slippy pitch with confidence. The game began strongly with lots of attacks from York. After lots of hard work, Dave Measom converted two drag flicks in the first half to put York 2-0 up at half time and in a comfortable position going into the second half. The second half started with Leeds Adel showing a bit more grit than the first half, however Tobin Clarke had the ball passed to him at the back post and managed to convert with a lovely goal. As the game closed to an end Alex Cockram weaved his way through the defence and smashed a 4th goal in. However Leeds Adel shortly converted a scrappy goal for themselves afterwards. With the game about to end, York had time to score one more goal with James Fitton smashing the ball in on the volley straight into the goal. The game finished 5-1 to City Of York - the first win at home of the season despite the difficult conditions under foot.
