Ladies 2's hosted Wakefield 3's in their 2nd home in counter of the season.
York started well with numerous counterattacks only to be denied by the Wakefield keeper who made several outstanding saves to keep the York forwards at bay.
York then found themselves a goal behind as Wakefield were awarded a pc which they converted. Although York went 1.0 down their determination and continued pressure in the Wakefield half led to Yorks top goalscorer Chloe Robinson finding the net from a reverse hit strike making sure York went in at the break level.

York started the 2nd half as they did the 1st. Some swift slick moves from defense through the midfield to the forwards but again York were denied by good saves from the Wakefield keeper. Against the run of play Yorks defence came under pressure which led to another pc been awarded and from the initial strike which was saved by Ruby..in the York goal it bounced of the keepers pads to a Wakefield player on the post who volleyed the ball into the net.
Once again York didn't allow their heads to drop and continued to look for an equaliser it came with about 10 mins to go when Maise Rk from midfield passed a neat ball to Skilts who found Chloe R on the penalty spot who on her forhand placed the ball passed the Wakefield keeper. With 6 mins left York tried to create an opportunity to get the winning goal but time ran out and York had to settle with a Draw.
