Our first game of this season at the Ace uni pitch.
The sun was shining in the sky like a Diamond ? ♦️and we had more than a handful of subs, guided by Queen ? Heather.

We started off strong and it seemed like an even deal at first. We dug in with our Spades ♠️ but couldn't stop Ben Rhydding getting their first goal.

After a halftime team talk from the Queen we came back out in high spirits like a good club ♣️ should. The subs were Shuffled regularly which sometimes caused a bit of confusion about positions. Ben Rhydding scored a well executed second goal.

With our first defeat, knocking us off our King ? league position it was time to Jack it in and head to the clubhouse for Jack(ets) and Nina's delicious muffins that didn't hit the Deck this time! ?
